I joined a new club called GYM (Global Youth Mission) which is a unique club that pushes students out of their comfort zone in learning how to contribute and find solutions for developing third world countries and underprivileged communities. For December's monthly GYM meeting, we focused on universal health coverage and we learned about universal healthcare in the U.S. compared to other parts of the world. We also wrote cards to children in hospitals as it was the Christmas season.
