This summer, I had the chance to participate in the Economics for Leaders virtual program, and it was one of the most enriching experiences I’ve had. Even though it was held online, the program was packed with engaging activities, group discussions, and simulations that made every day exciting and interactive.
Through the economics sessions, I gained a deeper understanding of how economic principles apply to real-world decisions—both at the individual and policy level. The leadership component helped me reflect on what type of leader I am, how I make decisions, and how I work within a team.
Most importantly, I met incredible people from all over the world. Despite being virtual, the connections felt genuine, and we learned a lot from one another. This program not only taught me economic concepts, but also helped me grow as a communicator, collaborator, and leader. I’m grateful for the experience and would recommend it to anyone curious about the intersection of leadership and economics.
